A six-month follow-up (ranging from two to six months) was conducted on 25 patients with postoperative or diabetic ulcers. Despite a small number of reported cases of acute pancreatitis in individuals infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2, the actual frequency and prevalence of this condition, as well as other extrapulmonary sequelae, remain a significant area of research.
